The Dark Blue + Bacteria kits combine C Special dark blue dye with beneficial bacteria for a premium water treatment. The dark blue color provides stronger UV light blocking than standard blue, offering superior algae inhibition while giving your water body an elegant, deep blue appearance.

Important: Dark dye provides a more intense color than standard blue. Start with the recommended dose - you can always add more later. Wear protective gloves and clothing. C Special dye stains more intensely than Pond Blue.

2 Application Steps

Day 1 - Apply Bacteria First:
• Dissolve/shake bacteria product per instructions
• Distribute evenly around the water body perimeter
• Focus extra product on areas with algae or organic buildup
• Allow 24 hours for bacteria to begin establishing
Day 2-3 - Apply Dark Blue Dye:
• Dissolve C Special powder completely in a bucket of pond water (10-15L)
• Wear gloves! Dark dye stains strongly
• Pour dissolved solution at 4-6 points around the perimeter
• For best results, also distribute some in the center (use a boat for large areas)
Days 3-5: Allow 48-72 hours for full color distribution. Avoid disturbing the water.
Assess color: After 72 hours, check if the desired depth of color is achieved. If lighter color is preferred, wait - dye will gradually fade. If deeper color needed, add more dye.
Monthly Maintenance:
• Re-apply bacteria every 4-6 weeks (April-October)
• Top up dark dye when color fades (typically every 6-10 weeks)
