1 Kit Contents

Each kit contains a carefully selected combination of blue water dye and beneficial bacteria, proportioned for your water body size. The dye provides immediate visual improvement and UV blocking, while bacteria work over time to break down organic waste and prevent algae.

Important: Apply dye and bacteria separately with at least 24 hours between applications. Apply bacteria first, then dye. Water temperature must be above 10°C for bacteria to be effective.

2 Application Protocol

Day 0 – Dye (Blue Pond):
• Calculate the required dye amount for your water surface area
• Dissolve powder in a bucket of pond water (10–15 L) or shake liquid well
• Distribute evenly around the perimeter at multiple points
Day 0 – Bacteria liquid (ByoFix 4x-ps):
• If your kit contains liquid bacteria, apply on the same day as the dye
• Shake the bottle well and pour directly into the water
• Distribute at several points around the perimeter
Day 15 – Bacteria powder (ByoFix powder):
• If your kit contains powder bacteria, dissolve in a bucket of pond water (5–10 L)
• Let stand 15–20 minutes for bacterial activation
• Distribute evenly around the water body
Day 30 – Bacteria liquid (ByoFix 4x-ps):
• Repeat the liquid bacteria application as on Day 0
• Distribute evenly around the perimeter
Maintenance:
• Re-apply dye monthly (10–20% of initial dose) to maintain colour
• Re-apply bacteria every 4–6 weeks throughout the warm season (April–October)

3 Expected Results

Immediate: Beautiful blue water color within 24-48 hours of dye application
1-2 weeks: Bacteria begin reducing organic waste and algae nutrients
3-4 weeks: Noticeable reduction in algae growth and improved water clarity
Season-long: With regular maintenance, clear blue water all season

4 Tips for Best Results

Apply during calm weather - avoid heavy rain or strong wind
Ensure water aeration if possible (fountain or aerator)
Remove large debris (leaves, branches) before first application
For heavily neglected water bodies, use 1.5x bacteria dose in the first month
Combine with regular mechanical cleaning for optimal results
